Established in 2019, The Farmer’s Daughters & Son Llc is the first modern wedding & event venue of its kind in the MOV.
Aspiring to provide a curated wedding experience based on unparalleled excellence, the creation of intimate details, and focusing on a personal level with clients to ensure that we create a unique event tailored to your needs.
Our 6,000 sq ft modern climate-controlled event facility is nestled on 26 picturesque acres. The venue features 14 ft high ceilings, complemented by locally made iron chandeliers, ADA compliant restrooms, a caterers kitchen, and a custom bar/lounge area for guests.
Your bridal party will take center stage in front of our reclaimed wood wall & crystal chandelier & guests will be sure to admire the character and mixed hues of our handmade 10 ft custom barnwood tables. Make the night one to remember & roll up the modern glass garage door while you dance the night away. With access to our extensive list of inventory, you won’t find another venue that can transform itself to compliment your style. From industrial chic, to boho dreams, or modern rustic, the options are endless.
The outdoor space is nothing short of amazing! Guests will swoon over the dreamy willows that adorn our 2.5 acre pond, and photographers will be in awe of the countless photo opts. From the magical sunsets on the island, to the rolling hills, open meadows & manicured lawns, The Farmer’s Daughters & Son makes creating a unique backdrop for your ceremony effortless.
Friends & family will enjoy celebrating in our outdoor lounge area. Complete with seating, bar tops, outdoor games, patio heaters & a gas fireplace for those chilly evenings.
Our boho inspired bridal suite won’t disappoint. The area is perfect for you & your bridal party to enjoy the day getting ready. With plenty of natural light, three vanities, & no shortage of mirrors, your MUA & stylist will have everything they need at their fingertips.
The gentlemen will love the vibe of their suite just as much! They can choose to play their hand at a game of cards, battle for ping pong champion, or try for a hole in one at putter ball.

CAN WE USE ANY VENDORS WE WANT?
Your vendors play an important role in your event! With that being said, we have a directory of preferred local vendors that have proven themselves to be some of the best around. However, if you have a vendor that’s not on the list, you’re welcome to use them, as long as they are licensed/insured & sign the appropriate vendor form.
WE ARE PLANNING ON AN OUTDOOR CEREMONY. WHAT IF IT RAINS?
We all know that you can’t predict the weather. Each outdoor event will have a “rain plan” in place. That way if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we can seamlessly move your event inside.
IS YOUR VENUE COMPLIANT WITH STATE & LOCAL LAWS TO OPERATE AS A VENUE?
Certification: The Farmer’s Daughters & Son is fully authorized to operate as a wedding venue in the state of Ohio. We have received our Certificate of Occupancy and Use Permit and are in full compliance with all permits and ordinances required from Washington County & the State of Ohio.
DO YOU HAVE PARKING FOR GUESTS?
We have parking for your guests in the lot adjacent to the venue. Any guest with a handicap decal will be parked in the lot directly in front of the venue. All wedding packages include a parking attendant to direct your guests & will be present until the start of your ceremony.
DO YOU HAVE A KITCHEN FOR OUR CATERER TO USE?
Your caterer is welcome to use our catering kitchen! Caterers must be licensed & insured, and a vendor guideline form will need to be signed.
CAN OUR PUPS BE PART OF OUR CEREMONY?
If your ceremony is held outdoors, your pups are welcome to take part. They will be permitted outdoors only and may arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of your ceremony. Arrangements must be made for them to be picked up directly following the ceremony.
CAN WE USE DECOR OWNED BY THE VENUE?
Buying items that will be used once is costly, so we encourage you to use our decor! Our extensive list of inventory is updated every few months, and includes, but isn’t lmited to arches, peacock chairs, custom mobile bars, ivory/white cheesecloth runners, a champagne wall, antique brass candlesticks, assortment of rugs, vases, props, decor, antique furniture, cake stands, and much more!

I met Lauren when The Farmer’s Daughters & Son was just a vision. Before the construction, renovations, and beautiful finishing touches. After meeting her, I knew I couldn’t possibly ask for someone better to make my dream wedding a reality! Lauren and her team went above and beyond. I truly never had to worry about anything. Anything I asked or suggested, was done. She communicated with my mom and I often and kept us updated with every detail throughout the process. The entire property is beautiful and met every single need we had! My bridesmaids and I had the best time getting ready and a beautiful bridal suite. This venue is exactly what our area needed! My experience at the farmer's daughters and son was unlike anything I thought it would be! My dream wedding planning started in the spring, months before the event center was even finished. I was so attracted to the beautiful pond, with the gazebo positioned in the center, with a huge lawn for all my guest. The spacious and modern look to the building was just an added bonus for an indoor reception.
Lauren went above and beyond for me even though my date was kind of pushing the ideal finished time! Lauren sent me pictures of the building process as well as inspiration pictures so I could better plan for how I wanted to decorate. With much perseverance, they were able to finish the event venue in time for my August 1st wedding!!
However, as the weather often does not like to cooperate with our plans. We had a rainy day (tons and tons of good luck). With the ceremony originally outside, Lauren again had to think quick on her feet. She came to me throughout the day with updates and possible options to relocate the ceremony in case we were rained out. We were. But that didn’t mean that the day wasn’t beautiful!! We moved the whole event and doors and the beautiful, spacious event center held our 250+ wedding perfectly! Even during Covid, with the many specifications of social distancing, there was plenty of room for guest to be spaced out (and we can happily report that no one got sick).
With all of this information, this is the main take away, this place is beautiful and will be the perfect location for any event!! Also it’s amazing to know that you all have someone with you every step of the way, like Lauren!

I got to have my dream wedding here. It was so beautiful, and went above and beyond all expectations. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend 1 million times. I have zero regrets about this venue, and the beauty of the building and the land speaks for itself.
We could fit everyone who wanted to come, parking was not an issue, and we had a great time. We had a bridal suite where the girls could get ready, and a groom’s area where they could hang out and spend time together. Our wedding party and friends were able to take beautiful pictures by the pond under the string lights. The fire pit allowed people to step outside, but also stay warm and socialize. Thank you Farmer’s Daughters & Son for everything you did for my big day!

My husband and I decided last minute that we wanted to get married in April instead of October, and when we went to look at the farmer's daughters and son, we fell absolutely in love with the place! Everything was perfect and Lauren was amazing the whole entire time. She had so many suggestions and ideas and she made sure it all fell into place for the most perfect day, on the day of our wedding! This venue was breathtaking. I was just Mary here over the weekend. I wanted an outdoor wedding and Lord made that possible despite the misty rain we encountered. Everything turned out just perfectly and exactly as I had imagined my dream wedding to be. She really goes above and beyond for her brides. We took advantage of the overnight room suite the night before and they had such a nice time. The bridal suite was perfect for the bridesmaids and myself to all get ready in. Made it easy for hair and make up to come to us. She has such pretty decor and so many options for how the venue can be set up and decorated. She really has an eye for making things look perfect. If you were thinking about looking at The Farmer’s Daughters & Son DO IT! After looking at 14 different venues, when we met with Lauren and took a tour we knew we had found the place to have our best day ever. We booked not only our wedding and reception there, but my bridal shower as well. 10 out of 10! Lauren goes above and beyond! From our first meeting to the months leading up, she checked in, sent me updated inventory for decor/options, answered all of my questions and most importantly eased my anxiety. She is so hands on and works her butt off to ensure everything is set up, checks with other vendors, make sure the details are perfect and the day goes smoothly. I cannot put into words how grateful I am for Lauren. The venue itself is breathtaking! There are so many photo spots and outdoor ceremony spot options. The reception space was perfect for our 220 guest list, the tables are incredible! With a photo booth, buffet, dance floor and two bars, everyone was comfortable and we had plenty of space. The amount of decoration & inventory, including arches that Lauren has helped not only save us money but stress & time. The bridal suite is what my BoHo Pinterest board dreams were made of. I had 13 bridesmaids and three hair and make up artist getting ready in there from 7:30-2:30, It was cozy, comfortable, and we had plenty of space! Lauren and The Farmer’s Daughters & Son is unmatched. I am forever thankful we choose we chose to get married at The Farmer’s Daughters & Son, it was the best day of our lives at the most beautiful place.

Having grown up in the area, I knew there was a need for a place that could bring a sense of community, a place that could create memories, and a place that could capture life’s most important moments. That’s what drove me. I knew not only could I meet those needs, but I would also exceed them!
I started to develop new avenues in order to provide couples an opportunity to bring their vision to life, options to help alleviate the stress of what should be their best day, and to help create an experience that can’t be duplicated.
Anyone can open a wedding venue, but it’s not just unlocking the doors to the venue every weekend. I live it & breathe it, day in & day out. The venue is a labor of love for me & that’s what sets us apart.
